2 Paralelled (Twin) 28 awg OCC Copper with PE Dielectric.

Parallel cables allows this to be used with most all headphone applications.
The braided shield is silver plated copper

Many headphones require both cables.  
If a headphone only requires one cable, they can be split apart and the second piece can be used on another headphone.
