SB Acoustics Rinjani Textreme Beryllium - FineTuning by StereoArt

Taken from a mount in Komodo Island, particularly notable as the habitat of Komodo dragons in Indonesia. RINJANI BE is designed to deliver transparent and dynamic sound reproduction. Our version is a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker based on top line of SATORI drivers 6.5″ MW16 Textreme and Beryllium TW29BN.

The RINJANI TX Be by StereoArt takes advantage of the top of the line SATORI MW16TX-8 with two 6½” midwoofers used in each speaker
for a 2½-way floor standing speaker and pairs them with acoustically stunning 29mm wide surround Beryllium dome tweeter - SATORI TW29BN.
TW29BN is available as fully black or with silver ring for a visually match to different cabinet colors.

We very impressed with our Rinjani Be SE by StereoArt and once Textreme drives appeared we started development of a new version based on MW16TX drivers, which we think one of the best midrange drivers in the world.

The crossover of the RINJANI TX has been developed from scratch for optimal match of the TeXtreme® drivers to Beryllium dome for best possible sonic performance.

Crossover have minimalistic design - only 2 capacitors, 3 coils and couple of resistors while it gives excellent phase transition from driver to driver.

The sound is very natural and true to life with the two 6½” Textreme midwoofers and delivering accurate and solid bass at even high listening levels.

The Rinjani gently faceted top corner shape is specially designed to reduce high frequency diffraction and yields superb imaging qualities. 7⁰ inclined cabinet shape has purpose to deliver sound staging even with simple crossover design. Whilst, the idea behind inclined bottom is to diminish standing waves. Build-in pedestal is designed to generate accent on its unique design.

Main facts:
- We designed crossovers with good off-axis response what allows to fit it to almost any room. Seriously better then standard kit's crossover!
- We do individual matching of drivers and crossovers to get best matching frequency and phase response between frivers and for Left and Right speakers. This is very important for a good soundstage!
- Our goal was to get best phase transition from woofer to tweeter, Our RINJANIs are almost linear phase!
- Premium components for crossovers: Mundorf Supreme EVO Oil capacitors, Mundorf Supreme resistors and Mundorf Baked Aircore coils.

Unbelievably good vertical response - only small suck-out about 2dB in crossover region for +30degrees above the tweeter at 1m measurements.

RINJANI Textreme Beryllium Impedance: 4Ohm

Minimum impedance is 3.6 Ohm at 134Hz, what is good for almost all amplifiers.
