Oyaide Headphone cable 1/4" plug - 2 pin plug HPC-63HDX V2 2.5m

In 2011, we at Oyaide produced HPC-35HD/62HD, a headphone cable for Sennheiser HD650/600/580/25 SP-II, which received a lot of great feedback from users.

In 2012, renewal its cable and molding audio plugs, we achieved to produce HPC-35HDX / HPC-62HDX which has 2 different colors, black and silver, and has higher reliability and sound quality.

We newly developed original molding headphone plug which helps to enhance reliability and sound quality by pursuing the proper shape and material.
As an example, the slit molding placed on the plug makes connection stable and enhances fitting property. And insertion/ejection became easier by grasp friendly shape of molding headphone plugs.
The contact pins are made of copper alloy accurately machined and plated by 24 gold plating.
About the cable, you have two options, black and silver. Both of them inheriting electrically superior PCOCC-A conductor and PFA insulator, matt black sheath is made of TPE and shiny silver is make by transparent PVC.


HD650 w/HPC-HDX Silver

In order to respond to various using situations, we prepared 2 different length (1.3ｍ/2.5m) and 2 different kind of plugs (3.5mm stereo mini and 1/4 TRS phone). For both plugs, we applied silver + rhodium combination plating which has been proved its superiority by application for other HPC-series.

We use our original audio grade solder, SS-47 for the connection of plugs and cables of HPC-UE. Compared to general solders which usually contain 3N (99.9%) pure tin, SS-47 contains 4N (99.993%) pure tin achieved by excluding impurities to the maximum. Furthermore, 4.7% silver and 1.7% copper are contained for the purpose of improvement of electric conductivity and durability.
